Prophecies of the Qur’an. Jewish-Christian Alliance and Zionism
The Arabic word “أولياء” can be translated to English as:
- Parents
- Allies
- Guardians
- Friend
In Surah Al-Maidah, verse 51 of the Holy Quran, Allah forbids Muslims from taking Jews and Christians as allies or close friends. We know that the Jews did not consider the Prophet Jesus (Isa) (peace be upon him) as a prophet; rather, they attempted to kill him. As a result, enmity should have existed between Jews and Christians. However, surprisingly, they have now embraced each other as close friends.
One notable example of this friendship is the establishment of the state of Israel. Before 1948, there was no state called Israel on Earth, but with the direct support of the British government, a Jewish state was established in Palestine. This was made possible by the powerful political movement known as Zionism, whose goal is to establish a Jewish state in the holy land of Jerusalem. In this Zionist movement, numerous influential Jewish and Christian individuals and organizations are involved politically and economically, accumulating power and influence.
The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour during World War I, announcing support for the establishment of a “national home for the Jewish people” in Palestine (which at the time was part of the Ottoman empire). Balfour sent to Lord Walter Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community. He requested Lord Rothschild transmit its message to the Zionist Federation of Great Britain and Ireland. The text of the declaration was published in the press on 9 November 1917.
The Holy Quran, over 1400 years ago, had already warned Muslims about such astonishing friendships between Jews and Christians. Because Muslims are going to be the victims of this alliance.
